Hawes is situated at the top of Wensleydale, North Yorkshire.

We have 15 miles of double bank fishing on the river Ure, noted for its Brown Trout and Grayling. Suitable for both Fly and Bait fishing.

Our Trout season starts on the 25th March and ends on the last day of September.

The Grayling Season is July to 14th March.

As well as Wild Brown Trout the river is stocked with Brown Trout in April and July of up to 2lb in weight.

There is dedicated parking at Haylands Bridge and for disabled Anglers access for wheelchairs and electric scooters, there are also casting stations available for the disabled.

Otherwise access is usually easy except in the upland Becks.
