Public links are good to the area. There are regular local buses and links with the Settle-Carlisle mainline Railway.
There are plenty of other activities available in the area. Why not visit the Dales Countryside Museum, the Rope Works, Pottery, Wensleydale Creamery or just enjoy the scenery?
Castle Bolton and Aysgarth Falls are just a short distance from Hawes. the Wensleydale Railway now operates from Leeming Bar to Redmire.
